That song is about Kanye himself, and it's a brilliantly backhanded apology.

In retrospect, this is Kanye's apology to Taylor Swift - and plenty of other unnamed women, I'm sure - for being an asshole and a douchebag. I'm willing to bet we all know a few people that this song is actually about.

Whatever you think of the performance or the man himself, the song is just another reason that 'Ye is one of the most electrifying artists alive. The fact that there's even a debate about it proves my point.
