UNKLE offers sampler before US "tour."

UNKLE are playing three dates in the U.S. and two in Mexico. I don't know if that really qualifies as a tour. Faith No More and Rage Against The Machine played more reunion dates here, and they don't have a new album out.

Regardless, they're giving away two live UNKLE tracks and one each from the bands opening for them: Sleepy SunKi:Theory and The Golden Filter

Would you suspend an executive w/o pay for including this in an email of "inspirational or at least interesting stuff?"

A sample from a new book, just received in the newsroom.

From "'Twas The Night Before Christmas: 21st Century Edition" by Bruce Kluger and David Slavin.

Great, clever political satire on the downfall of Santa Clause. Brilliant.

(Read the book at the link above, or buy it on Amazon.)
